 The Sunshine Coast Astronomy Club was formed on July 30, 2004. In 2007, President Bill Clark spearheaded the drive to take the SCAC into the RASC. More at SCAC. 

Two or three times a year the members head out to the local SPCA to conduct some landscaping work to assist the volunteers in having an inviting space for all who attend the building ... especially the animals!!
